Finally SMARTCARB for the win! ’23 200 Race Edition with 38 hours on it. Had to put an oversized tank on it after the first ride to get over 30 mile range. Carb has been off over 2 dozen times (shop tuned twice) with various jetting changes and to make sure the float was right but the bike never made it more than 35 miles. Clearly losing gas while I ride. Put a SmartCarb on and now I have all the power but it’s MUCH SMOOTHER – that’s the big notice. Runs like my 350. Took me two tanks of gas tuning but finally I’m hitting 80 miles with gas still left in the tank.
Corey always comes through for me.

Anyone on the fence about purchasing a Smart Carb, I’m here to tell you to lay the cash out and get you one. I’m currently in NC and purchased mine about 5 months ago and got it dialed in.
I just got back from a trip to CO and the bike ran great!! I made a few adjustments to lean it out and it ran like a beast at elevations over 12,000 feet.
The bike has ran better and saves fuel ever since I installed it. Love it!!

Been dealing with rich conditions since day one as I ride all elevations, and not wanting to constantly be swapping out jets- I finally went with a SmartCarb and I’m super impressed.
No more spooge, the plug looks great, bike has more power, and I get more out of a tank of gas.
It took a few rides to really get it dialed- playing around with the sweet spot with the metering rod, and once I got that dialed, I found that turning my power valve in 1mm from flush was where it best optimized the power.
If you get a smartcarb, keep in mind that this is an important step- because running it a little leaner changed where that powerband was and made it rev out a little faster than the rich conditions I was used to. If anyone has any questions- feel free to ask.
