The all-new 34mm SC3 model SmartCarb is designed to replace conventional, spigot mounted carburetors in 125-300cc 2-stroke applications and in 150-350cc 4-stroke applications, offering unbeatable performance and incredible ease of use. It is a direct fit in applications originally equipped with Keihin PJ/PWK and Mikuni VM/TM series carburetors of similar size. In general we recommend replacing size-for-size.

SmartCarb Fuel Systems makes no guarantees regarding the suitability of this product for use in unknown applications or in those for which it was not specifically designed for. The +2 Metering Rods option is recommended for unique applications and adds a one step richer metering rod and a one step leaner metering rod to your order relative to the metering rod selected and installed by the technician prior to shipping based on the application information provided. A technician may reach out for further information prior to shipping.

Filter-side spigot Ring Adapters are press-fit installed prior to shipping and are not removable.

High Capacity Float Bowl option (Left Hand Configuration Only) recommended for high performance 2-stroke applications.

Fitment Information

The all-new 34mm SC3 model SmartCarb accepts any throttle cables designed for use with Keihin PJ/PWK and Mikuni VM/TM series carburetors of similar size, whether slip-end or thread-end. Slip-end cables may require moving the throttle cable guide from the stock carburetor to the SmartCarb cap (if possible). The SmartCarb cap or top cover uses industry standard M6x.75 metric threads for cable attachment. A standard throttle cable guide is included with your purchase. 34mm SC3 SmartCarbs are spigot mounted and require installation and isolation within rubber manifolds. No hard contact or excessive vibration transfer are permitted. Hard contact between the carb body and the engine case, frame, or shock spring or excessive vibration during operation may cause fuel frothing/aeration resulting in potential engine damage or unsafe operation of the application.

Left Hand OR Right Hand 34mm SC3 SmartCarbs may be configured in multiples with a minimum distance between intake centerlines of 85mm. Right Hand and Left Hand Twins may be mounted side by side with a minimum distance between intake centerlines of 70mm.

The 34mm SC3 SmartCarb may be tilted up to 15 degrees either side for fitment clearance and up to 30 degrees forward or semi down-draft, but no further.
