SmartCarbs are designed to replace conventional, spigot mounted, top pull throttled carburetors of similar size. In general we recommend replacing size-for-size.
Choose the Build Your Own SmartCarb product only if you cannot find your application in the Selector Tool drop-downs on the Shop page but are confident in your ability and understanding to adapt it to your particular application or if directed to by a SmartCarb Fuel Systems technician or representative. SmartCarb Fuel Systems makes no guarantees regarding the suitability of this product for use in unknown applications or in those for which it was not specifically designed for.
In general this product is not recommended for use in 4-stroke applications larger than 450cc in displacement.
